Donkey and goat - The new modern image of Istrian animals, symbols of tradition, are yet another possible souvenir. Today there are no more donkeys in Pula, naturally there are no bulls or cows, or Istrian cattle (boškarin), believed to be the oldest in Europe. There are no goats, which were chosen as the trademark and powerful symbol of both Istria and Pula by Egida Capris. Goats, as well as other animals, are available in specialized souvenir shops.
