Istrian instruments - Musical instruments such as mih (bellows), sopele, roženice (Istrian long flute) are typical of Istria. They are available in some souvenir shops and can really be a lovely decoration in someone's home.

However, if instead of hand-made instruments you wish to take back from Pula something "musical", we suggest a CD with typical Istrian folk music, available in music shops.

Istria is famous for its Istrian scale - specific way of playing music unique in the world, which will hopefully be included in UNESCO's World Heritage List.
