The last month of the year is traditionally reserved for the event December in Pula – Dicembre in città, the holiday event that offers plenty of interesting programs at various city locations for locals and visitors alike. The programs are intended for all ages with lots of fun for everyone to kick off the holiday season. This year’s rich program December in Pula – Dicembre in città offers a wide variety of cultural and entertainment events and programs, performances and concerts.
The rich music program at Portarata called Rocktarata features the following concerts: The Night Express, Vatra, Fit, Letu Štuke, Songkillers, Psihomodo pop, Dj Rock Caffe, Top of the Pops, Blagdan Band, Funbox, Urban & 4, Dj Giuly, Pips, Chips & Videoclips, Radioaktiv, Krug – Ekv Tribute Band, Febra. All those who decide to celebrate the beginning of the new 2020 at Portarata will be entertained by Šajeta.
The traditional New Year’s Eve celebration will also be organized in the Forum- one of the oldest squares in the city, with the bands Zabranjeno pušenje, preceded by Le Monde.
Interesting alternative programs are organized by Seasplash Platform, – Fakofbolan, Atheist Rap, Vasil Hadžimanov Band with guests; there will also be a New Year’s party at the Club Kotač, and the well-known C.U.B.E. vol. 7 at Club Uljanik.
The New Year 2020 arrives a bit earlier at Giardini with the band Nola, this special New Year’s celebration will be held at noon. The ice-skating rink at Giardini can also be the perfect place to celebrate the beginning of 2020. This heart of the city, with its Magic Forest is also the magical place for children during the upcoming holidays.
There will also be plenty of singing and cooking at the marketplace in December – Christmas delicacies will be prepared on December 24, and on December 31 you can sing and dance to the music of Vesna Nežić Ružić and then taste the delicious food prepared in the so-called Pula padela. Of course, there will be other musical programs at the marketplace during the entire month.
This year’s program of Advent in the Cathedral features concerts by Bruno Krajcar and Vanna, and the traditional Christmas charity concert at the Istrian National Theatre features Marko Tolja and Mia Dimšić.
December in Pula can be truly unique. So, take a walk through the city, stop for a break at Giardini or buy fresh local produce at the market while listening to music.
