Riva

It is hard to imagine any coastal town without its waterfront. A promenade for strolling, meeting, resting on a bench after a hard day’s work, be it even its small part only 200 m long. This is where mostly retired people meet at their morning chat and fishermen before going fishing or upon return, in order to tell their friends another fisherman’s story. They gather beneath the branches and spend a few pleasant hours. One can also see a young mother walking her child in a stroller, stopping for a while to rest her eyes in the azure of the sea and breathe a bit of sea air. Originally here stood a smaller cove mandrač, for keeping boats. By later leveling, the land was raised up to the present level and a magnificent park was designed here.
