17.1.2018.  5.30 pm , City Hall -  the Pula Mayor hands over the symbolic key of the City of Pula and all the powers it symbolizes to the Master of the Carnival.   03.02.2018.  11.30  am  -  Carnival parade -  Karolina -  Arena - Portarata Square - presentation of the carnival groups   Karolina, 3 pm -  Big costume ball for all  visitors of the  Carnival with Mauro Staraj & La Banda   (in case of rain in Circolo) .   13.02.2018. Veli Vrh, 7 pm, the burning of the "Pust" - an effigy made of straw, a the traditional culprit for all the last year's troubles.
